Plan Your Visit
We’re glad you’re thinking about visiting Beverly Heights. For nearly 100 years our congregation has gathered in Mt. Lebanon to worship the living God, and every Lord’s Day we welcome guests who are looking for a Reformed, biblical covenant community in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. Whether you’ve been part of a church your whole life or you’re walking through our doors as your first step toward one, there is a place for you in the pew.
When We Worship
- Sunday School (all ages): 9:00 AM
- Worship: 10:00 AM
- Summer schedule (First Sunday in July through Labor Day weekend): one worship service at 9:00 AM
Our worship service lasts about 90 minutes.
Where We Are
1207 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15228 — on Route 19 in the heart of Mt. Lebanon, minutes from Upper St. Clair, Bethel Park, and the rest of the South Hills.
Please use side entrances through the hardwood double doors.
What to Expect
Our worship is reverent, joyful, and ordered by Scripture. The liturgy follows the biblical pattern of covenant renewal worship: God calls us, cleanses us through confession, consecrates us by His Word, receives our gifts, meets us at His Table, and sends us out with His blessing. We sing robustly, read Scripture together, and sit under the preaching of the whole counsel of God. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper every week.
We Worship as Families
At Beverly Heights, we believe children belong in the sanctuary, worshiping alongside their parents. Wiggles, whispers, and the occasional squawk don’t bother us as we train our children for worship — the sound of covenant children in worship is a blessing, not a distraction. Worship bags for children are available at the transepts, and if your little one needs a moment to reset, childcare rooms on the B-Level are open for parents to use.
What We Believe
Beverly Heights is Presbyterian in polity, Reformed in theology, and confessional in commitment. We subscribe to the Westminster Standards and hold Scripture to be inspired, inerrant, and infallible. You can read more on our Beliefs page — and we’d be glad to talk through any of it with you in person.
