One Nation Under God? An Essay By John P. Gordon.
I believe religious beliefs should transcend political associations, there is not one political party that could or should claim to be the party of God. There are enough wrongs to go around to pin on both parties. (We are all sinners...) That said, I am posting an essay that analyzes statistics from a recent Pew Report that breaks down religious beliefs by party affiliation. This is not meant to be a partisan attack on one party or the other nor is it the main focus of the essay. I think it is a thoughtful essay on the degradation of religious belief and the role of religion in today's public square that every person of faith should be aware of.
