China's War on Christianity
The communist government of China is cracking down on Christian churches with renewed vigor. All churches have to be registered with the government and are closely monitored. Underground churches still flourish but they continue to be shut down and pastors are jailed and persecuted. Ironically, we are helping them do so. Facial recognition software and surveillance technology has been sold to the Chinese government by our High Tech Industries. Google and Facebook are more than happy to sell their products to the Chinese who are eager to use them to tightly control their population.

D-Day: the pivotal moment of the 20th century...
June 6 is the 75th Anniversary of the Allied invasion of Normandy. Some historians call it the most consequential day of the 20th century. I would have to agree. This was the beginning of the end of the Nazi war machine that conquered Europe, enslaved millions, committed savage atrocities and inflicted a genocide upon millions of the Jewish people, caught in their dark web. Fueled by a soulless dogma, Germany rose to a power that was a concentration of evil the likes of which history had never before experienced.
Following a 24-hour delay due to poor weather, in the early morning hours of June 6, General Eisenhower gave the command to go, launching a huge armada of ships, planes and men across the English Channel, to land on the beaches of Northern France, right into the teeth of Hitler’s Atlantic Wall. Winston Churchill estimated that 20,000 men would lose their lives this day. Fortunately, the Allies suffered only 10,000 causalities, 5,000 of whom lost their lives. Not one life lost that day was in vain. With their blood they demonstrated that freedom comes at a high cost, that it is never free, for which we should always be grateful.
